City Administrator
Oversee 4 department heads, prepare and manage budgets ($2.5M in FY23, $3.1M in FY24, and $4.7M in FY25), direct infrastructure projects, manage economic development through development agreements and grant administration, and ensure all city services operate efficiently and effectively. I also serve as Lake City's Public Information Officer, Zoning Administrator, Code Enforcer, City Clerk, and Personnel Director.
I report directly to the Mayor and City Council. As City Administrator I also:
â–º Serve as the Governing Body’s top advisor by implementing City Council policies
â–º Oversee management of all city operations
â–º Coordinate the development and analysis of policy recommendations and present them to the City Council

Some of my achievements as City Administrator include:
â–º Restoring public trust by enforcing municipal code on all, including elected officials
â–º Stabilizing operations by increasing accountability of employee performance and replacing non-performers
â–º Securing a $500,000 grant for the construction of two new municipal wells
â–º Identifing $4 million of savings by switching from SRF to USDA funding for a major infrastructure project
â–º Restoring financial health to the city's water fund by authoring an in-depth analysis of water rates that successfully persuaded Council to pass the first water rate increase in 8 years
â–º Introducing clarity and transparency to city finances through leading public budget workshops
â–º Creating detailed budget memos for FY24 and FY25 budgets to explain financial priorities of the city
â–º Modernizing the experience for utility users by upgrading to an online utility billing application
